FAWZY ELBARBRY
I am a clinical pharmacist and professor of pharmacy. I serve the ICCH board of trustees where I aim to serve all Muslims in the Portland metro area and empower our youth to lead the Muslim community to the next level.
FAYZA SOHAIL
I grew up locally and have a passion to see the next generation of Muslims thrive in the community. My vision is to have an inclusive center for Muslims that progressively connect them to their deen and provide positive impact on the community at large.
MOHAMED HEGAZY
I moved to Portland in 2007. As a founding member of ICCH, I had the vision to create the leading Islamic organization that brings the local community together through social, youth, family, and charity activities.
MOHAMED SAWAN
I grew up in Wisconsin, have been in the Hillsboro area since 1996, and am excited to use my personal and professional experience to make ICCH one of the prominent Islamic centers in the northwest.
Ratu Vanda Wardani
She has been living in Beaverton, OR since 2000 with her husband and four boys. She is a student and a Qur’an teacher. Her vision for ICCH is to create a masjid as a place for fostering positive and inclusive environment for diverse members of the community.
Usman Mughal
Usman is a patent attorney and former Intel design engineer. He co-founded a free health clinic, The Citizen's Foundation Portland chapter, and the Oregon Muslim Bar Association.
YASSER RASHEED
Alhamdulillah, I was part of the initial group that put together early plans for ICCH. As a father of two young men, I understand the challenges that our youth faces. I look forward to making ICCH a financially independent/self-sustainable role model community center that allows the youth to grow and develop in an Islamic environment.

Ahmad Al Mohammad - President
Ahmad moved to Oregon in 2002 and serves as an engineering manager at Intel. A father of three, he is dedicated to strengthening ICCH through partnerships across the Portland metro area and building a vibrant community for future generations.
Abdullah Hassouneh - Facility
I joined the Muslim community in Oregon back in 1997 and enjoy being an active member. My mission is to keep the Muslim community, especially the children, connected to the masjid and to preserve our Muslim identity.
Bintu foday - Social Officer
I moved to Portland in 2017 and feel so blessed to call this place home. I am deeply passionate about fostering diversity and inclusion within the ICCH community. With a heart for service and connection, I am especially committed to creating welcoming spaces where sisters from all backgrounds feel at home. Whether through organizing community events, supporting intergenerational engagement, or simply offering a warm smile at the door, I work to ensure that every person who walks into ICCH feels seen, valued, and embraced.
Doaa Elhaggan - public relations
I have been active in the Muslim community in the US since 2002, and Portland since 2006. My vision for ICCH is to be an inclusive & welcoming place for Muslims across their various diversities & a safe place for families to worship & connect, to collaborate with others to promote unity within the Muslim community, and to be of service to the society at large.
Farah Mohamoud - Education
My family moved to Oregon in 1994. My vision is to create a culture of belonging where every individual — especially our youth — feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow in faith and service. I am particularly passionate about empowering our youth, giving them not only a voice but a firm foundation in faith, leadership, and service.
Syed Abdul Rahman Fakhri - Treasurer
Syed has been in Portland since 2011. Raised in Jeddah, and having also lived in India, he has always been actively involved in community and volunteer work. As Treasurer, Syed oversees ICCH’s financial operations, ensuring responsible management of funds. He is committed to transparency, accountability, and the organization’s long-term financial health.
Yazan Siam - Secretary
Yazan moved to Oregon in 2020 and has been actively volunteering in various programs serving the Muslim community. He is passionate about fostering a welcoming and positive environment for the younger generation.
